The saints who have been born again and become righteous must serve the gospel and the Lord. This is an entirely natural thing. In the Bible there appears a woman who poured fragrant oil on Jesus. Whether she poured the fragrant oil on the head of Jesus or on His feet, the Lord counted this work precious, and Matthew, Mark, and John all recorded it. In Luke there appears a woman who had many sins, who poured fragrant oil on the feet of Jesus, wet those feet with her tears, and wiped them with her own hair. At that time the Pharisees said, “If you were really a prophet you would know who this woman is who is washing your feet.” This was because that woman was notorious in that town. But Jesus said, “When I came in you did not even give Me water to wash My feet, but this woman has washed My feet with her own tears and her hair,” and He said that the person who has received the complete remission of his sins will do as this woman did, but that the person who has not received the remission of his sins, the person who says that he has no sin, will not receive the Lord.
